Axie Infinity’s “RayLights” minigame is now availableAxie
Infinity recently confirmed on its social media that its innovative game, Raylights, is now available on the mainnet
Axie landowners have been waiting for the game for a long time. The idea of Raylights is that Axies are newly formed animals who must learn to produce and cultivate plants to create their own Axie civilization. In Axie Infinity: Raylights, participants insert minerals up to three layers deep into the soil to produce plants. Therefore, experimenting with various combinations of minerals can lead to the development of new, undiscovered plants.
Raylights introduces “Chill” mode on Axie Infinity
Raylights is the first P2E mini-game for the popular blockchain game Axie Infinity, offering a playable utility to community landowners.
Developed by Finnish game devs Quicksave Interactive, the minigame is a land cultivation game set at the dawn of Lunacia, a time when the Axies are still discovering cultivation techniques. First mentioned during AxieCon, Raylights is open to all Lunacian landowners and takes a more casual approach than Axie Infinity: Origins.
When the game opens, a random set of Axies roam the land. Players must find the right combination of minerals in the nursery to get a plant instead of a weed, and then progress through the game to unlock all 10 minerals and six soil layers.
Sky Mavis also announced two contests that will run until 4:30 UTC on October 15.
Through Raylights’ new Discord channel, the community is collaborating to discover recipes. A community-managed document has been created to keep track of what has been accomplished so far.
What is Axie Infinity
Axie Infinity is a blockchain Play to Earn game in which players breed, collect and play with digital pets called Axies and earn from interactions. It is built on Ronin, an Ethereum-based side-chain developed by Vietnamese game studio Sky Mavis. The protocol has its eye on the PlayAndEarn games industry as early as 2021. In addition, the team is building a digital nation where every community member joins to play, earn and live in Lunacia.

How Axie Infinity Raylights Works
Overall, there are 10 different types of minerals in Raylights, but participants only have access to the first three when they start. The other minerals are unlocked as the player progresses and discovers new discoveries.
After spreading minerals, players nominate an Axie to start growing the plant. When the growth period expires, the plant is placed in the inventory and can be placed in the plot of land.
Axie Infinity’s Raylights has no real goal. This game is only for the enjoyment of the players; however, it is intended to create unique gardens for the participants.
Raylights: tips and details about the game
For the time being, Raylights will only be available to Lunacia landowners. The mini-game has three main dimensions. Users are encouraged to plant seeds, cultivate their plots, and grow a variety of plants. The three aspects are illustrated below:
- Land cultivation
To understand why land cultivation is important, we must first go back to the creation of the world of Lunacia. The Raylights minigame starts at the beginning of Lunacia. This means that the Axies are new to this world and must find ways to survive, which includes learning to toil and cultivate the land. Accordingly, the first step in cultivation is to sow minerals.
In fact, as the land prospers, more users will be able to unlock more minerals and various combinations.
- The seedling nursery
Once the minerals are sown, the plants will need a perfect environment to grow. This is where the concept of building seedling nurseries at Raylights comes in. Each nursery is built with a unique mixture of minerals. This combination determines which plants can be grown and how good they will be. Axis will also be responsible for all nurseries.
In this case, after adding minerals, the user will have to select an Axie from their collection to work with. Sky Mavis has greatly simplified the process. In fact, it is more of a drag-and-drop operation.
Once the seedlings are planted, a timer will appear on the screen. The timer simply indicates the time remaining before the seedlings can be transferred to the plots.
- Minerals present in Raylights
:Raylight, as mentioned above, has ten different minerals. These minerals are found in nature. They are sown and then used in nurseries to grow plants. Aqua, Beastium, Edentine, Amber, Serpentine, Aerium, Solar, Obsidian, Mechanium and Citrine are among the ten minerals present. When you start the game, you only have access to three minerals. and they are Aqua, Edentine and Beastium.
However, as you advance, more and more minerals from the previous list become available. In addition, the type of plant you grow on the land depends entirely on the minerals.
- Some mineral combinations may produce rare plants, while others produce only common plants. In any case, this is all part of an experiment to make the world of Lunacia more enjoyable.
